The first quarter real estate statistics show the further normalization of the market as we work our way through the general slump in the economy. Employment declined in Lake County by 3,207 jobs in January and February, increasing the average monthly unemployment rate from 5% in the fourth quarter to 6.1% for the first two months of '08.
